im so done with lolita fashion i used to think its cute, and like, it is, but its also weebshit.i think domestically its liked bc its femininity w/out sexualization or whatever but int. its just a sign you're otaku trash and its only midfaces bc normal people wear normal clothes and what ends up happening is that its just really really clocky. then also add in the overseas price hike and the amount of accessorizing required, you're easily blowing $60 for dresses and also jfashion fans are fucking rabid they can tell they're being commercialized but wake up america this isnt 1990 anymore anime is mainstream and no one gives a fuck about purity culture from your favorite east asian ethnostate. its not jirai kei at least but its close.... just spend 1 or 2 minutes on western internet looking at lolita coords no hate but its all libshit cuteposters.

also the cut of the outfits are do overly femme that it shows you're trying too hard and that's also clocky.... the sleeves emphasize shoulders..... its not flattering......

at least if ur a weeaboo fantasizing about going decora u can pretend its y2k scene or something culturally sensible WHATEVER

I want to learn what kind of clothes I like & figure out how to dress in a way that makes me feel nice without it being scary to be in public in such an outfit, but I don't know how to do this without it being really really expensive. How do I do research on clothes & stuff without actually buying & trying on lots of clothes?
